Jane Butterworth, a Multidisciplinary Artist with a primary focus on music.
Jane began writing songs at just eight years old and stepped into her creative path professionally in early 2025, answering an inner calling that could no longer be ignored.
Now actively writing new material, she is deepening her understanding of music composition while preparing to begin the recording process. Her work centers on reflective, meaningful original songs shaped by lived experience and influenced by the timeless sounds of the 1970s.
With several original tracks currently in the pipeline, Jane plans to release music this year, alongside a select few recorded covers that honour the artists who inspired her.
Passionate about community, Jane's artistry is grounded in connection and the belief that music truly thrives when it is shared.

Jane's Art
Jane creates vibrant, colour-rich artworks guided by intuition and emotion. Working in an intuitive abstract style, her pieces are inspired by the shapes and flowing forms of the natural environment and carry a meditative quality.
She is interested in translating her designs into large-scale murals on building walls, as well as printing her artwork onto fabric for clothing and homewares. Jane is working on having her work available as prints, for licensing and exhibitions, and offers a limited range of original artworks for sale.
She is open to collaboration and community-driven projects, particularly outcomes that benefit the community through public art and shared creative experiences. Jane has participated in the SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival, sharing her work with the wider community. Get in touch to collaborate.
